Did you see the new one? The trailers have the aliens ripping up the earth’s crust and throwing it at cities, so I assume everyone died in it. I mean, that’s irrepairable damage to the earth. It can’t still maintain the conditions for living things after that.

Actually, I sat on the front porch and smoked a cigar while this rolled through. There were some very close bolts of lightning that made me question my decision, but I do love a good storm. Looking forward to some cooler weather for a couple of days.

That was a damn fine storm this afternoon. I watched it from the porch as well. It was just the thing after spending several hours out in the workshop running electrical wires.

i love watching storms. as a kid I saw a tree get hit by lightning in our backyard and crush our pool. that part kinda sucked

I had spent the morning at very stressful soccer game with my older boy. Then a long trip to the grocery store and a trumpet practice session with my son. The storm came at just the right time for my brain. It was awesome. Gonna be hot again by the end of the week, though. September has been miserable.
